Timer was broken right out of the box, but I use my phone as a timer, so it doesn't affect me that much. The game is great fun though. The dice really don't look they'll hold up well either, but for so cheap I'll grab another in a couple of years.
It's loads of fun for all the reasons others have mentioned. I hunted it down on Amazon, and she loved it. As my 4 sons grew, we continued to play it. It's not that Perquackey is just fun. My children were too young to play it, but my husband and I enjoyed it immensely. When my college-age brother came to visit for a week, we played it constantly. What's so great about Perquackey. using consonant blends, suffixes, endings, vowel blends, and other common letters that often go together to build longer and longer words.
What's so great about Perquackey. She's a 4.0 student, but I watched as she developed and used the word building skills that Perquackey provides. Fun and learning for kindergarteners through Senior Citizens. My 16 year old granddaughter recently came to stay with us for a week. I bought my first Perquackey game as a young mother, around 1970. it's really an educational tool.
The game ended up in my 3rd grade classroom, and the students gradually wore it out. I immediately thought of my old friend, Perquackey. At age 70, I still love playing Perquackey. how can you beat that.
I originally saw this game in a movie and just loved the name. I decided to get it for my girlfriend for her birthday and it has become the most played game in the house. Ditch the bonuses to make the game last longer.and really who wouldn't want to play this game for as long as possible. ;) Gotta love Perquackey.
Perquacky is a fabulous game that I grew up playing with my family. I buy it as a gift for young people now and then play with them to teach themthe game.
Played a lot with all age groups.Glad there is a timer.My 96 yr.old mother played,as did my 11 yr.grandson.Fun for all
